Symptoms
The symptoms of HIV and AIDS vary from depending on the phase of infection.


Primary infection (Acute HIV)

Most people infected by HIV develop through flu-like illness within a month or two after the viruses enters in the body. This illness will known as primary or acute HIV infection. Possible signs and symptoms include:

• Fever
• Headache
• Muscle aches and joint pain
• Rash
• Sore throat and painful mouth sores
• Swollen lymph glands, mainly on the neck,

These symptoms can be so  tender that you might not even notice them. However, the amounts of viruses in your bloodstream is quite high at separate time. As a result, the infection  flow more easily during primary infection than during the next stage.


Causes

HIV is caused by a viruses. It can flow through sexual contact or blood, or from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth or breast-feeding.

How does HIV become AIDS?

HIV destroys CD4 T cells i.e..white blood cells that play a important role in helping your body fight with diseases. The few amount of CD4 T cells you have in your body, it will make weak your immune system.
You can have an HIV infection disease for years,before it turns into AIDS. AIDS is spread when the CD4 T cells count falls below 200 & you have an AIDS-defining complication.

How HIV spreads


To become infected with HIV, infected blood, semen or vaginal secretions of other person must be enter in your body. This can happen in several ways:

• By having sex.

• From blood transfusion.

•  Bysharing needless.

During pregnancy or delivery or through breast-feeding.


Prevention


There is no vaccine to prevent HIV infection and from AIDS. But you can protect yourself and others from this infection.

To help prevent the spread of HIV:

•  Use everytime new condom when you do sex.

• Consider preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP). 

• Ask or tell your sexual partners if you have HIV  problem

• Use a clean needle.

• If you're pregnant take medical care right away.

• Consider male circumcision.
